PLYMOUTH CHARTER TOWNSHIP

Plymouth Township
continues to be one of Wayne County’s most vibrant, prosperous communities.
It surrounds the City of Plymouth and spreads westward to Washtenaw County.
The township has a population of 23,686 residents in an area of 15.9 square
miles.
The Plymouth Community
Chamber of Commerce serves both the city and the township, and arranges many
of the community events in the area. Plymouth offers residents and visitors
cultural and leisure activities such as Art in the Park, Music in the Park,
a Symphony Orchestra, the International Ice Sculpture Spectacular and
various antique and craft festivals.
The Plymouth area is close
to I-96, I-275, and M-14, making it easily accessible to Ann Arbor, Detroit
and Metro Airport.
