Northville Township celebrates its 100^th birthday in 1998. It is now one of the most desirable locations in the country in which to live. It has an excellent school district and the 1,000 acre Maybury State Park with its miles of trails for biking, cross-country skiing and horseback riding as well as mature forests and open meadows.

Northville Township is beginning a new phase characterized by rapid residential and community development. As the population grows, township services are being expanded but all growth is being carefully managed in order to retain the natural beauty and woodlands which distinguish Northville Township.
