Huron Township is located near the southwest corner of Wayne County. It is a semi-rural community where residents, business and the environment exist in quiet harmony.

Huron Township offers everything from secluded rural surroundings and planned developments to business and environmentally safe industrial sites. It is a careful balance between natural and man-made environments.

It offers many community and recreational facilities such as swimming, golfing and canoeing at the Lower Huron, Willow and Oak Wood Metroparks. Every year, the township hosts the Applefest in October and the Christmas Extravaganza.
