The City of Westland offers a diverse mix of manufacturing, retail and service businesses, well situated in a network of residential neighborhoods.

Westland is the ninth largest city in Michigan with a population of more than 84,000. The city offers its residents a well-maintained park system, two public golf courses, a state-of-the-art library and a wide choice of housing.

The city has a strong economy, which comes from a large commercial and residential tax base including the Westland Shopping Mall and a variety of industries based in six modern industrial parks. It is close to three major freeways and so many of Metro Detroit's cultural, educational and economic resources are less than 30 minutes away.
